Who operates this site
TradeTrained is operated by Jace Neville, an individual sole proprietor based in Missouri. TradeTrained is not currently an LLC or corporation.

Information collected
TradeTrained may collect limited information when a visitor asks for a companion tool, download, assessment result, book-related resource, or educational email:
- Email address.
- Name or business information if a form asks for it.
- Consent checkbox state and the exact consent text shown at submission time.
- Tool slug, entry point,
src, and UTM attribution fields used to understand which book link or page led to the request. - Basic technical data needed for security, abuse prevention, logs, and rate limiting. The current local capture API stores an IP hash, not a raw IP address.
How information may be used
TradeTrained may use this information to:
- Send the requested TradeTrained tool, download link, assessment follow-up, or related companion resource.
- Send occasional TradeTrained educational emails if the user consented.
- Maintain opt-in, audit, unsubscribe, and suppression records.
- Improve site reliability, attribution, and abuse prevention.
Sharing and processors
TradeTrained does not intend to sell personal information. Production processors are not final in this local build.
Production processors/services:
- Zola static site generator — builds the TradeTrained companion pages into static HTML.
- Alpine.js 3.17.4 — runs the local gate-state, email-gate, and assessment-page browser interactions.
- Browser sessionStorage — temporarily keeps
srcand UTM attribution during a visitor session. - FastAPI capture API (
api.capture) — receives local email-gate form submissions at/api/lead. - Local
leads.jsonlfile — stores local test lead submissions and consent records in this workspace. - Zola/local static server during testing — serves the local build for smoke tests. No production public host is connected in this workspace.
No production email service provider, CRM, payment processor, analytics provider, production database, or public subscriber system is connected in this local build.
Retention and choices
Lead and consent records are retained for: 24 months after last contact, then delete unless a legal, security, accounting, unsubscribe, suppression, or consent-audit reason requires keeping a narrower record.
Visitors may unsubscribe from marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in each email. For deletion, access, or correction requests, use the contact address above once Jace fills it in. Some records may be kept as needed for legal, security, accounting, unsubscribe, or consent-audit purposes.
Missouri law and venue
To the extent allowed by law, this site and any privacy-related dispute are governed by Missouri law, and venue belongs in the appropriate state or federal courts in Missouri.
